These General Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the rental of vehicles provided by Car Alliance to the customer. By booking, renting, or using our vehicles, you agree to these Terms.

1. Rental Requirements
  • Renters must be at least 21 years old.
• A valid driver’s license held for at least 1 year is required.
• An international driving permit may be required for non-resident renters.
• A valid credit card in the renter’s name is required for security deposit and payment.
• A voucher needs to be presented when picking up a vehicle

2. Reservations & Payments
• Reservations can be made online, by phone, or in person.
• Payment methods accepted: Visa, Mastercard credit cards
• A deposit or pre-authorization will be taken on your credit card at pick-up to cover rental charges and potential additional costs.
• Rental rates include Unlimited mileage, CDW (Collision Damage Waiver), TP (Theft Protection), Taxes, Airport Fee unless otherwise stated.

3. Vehicle Collection & Return
• Vehicles must be collected and returned at the agreed date, time, and location.
• Late returns may incur additional charges.
• Vehicles must be returned in the same condition as at pick-up, with the agreed fuel level
• Failure to return the vehicle on time may result in extra rental charges and/or reporting the vehicle as stolen.

4. Use of the Vehicle
The vehicle must not be used for:
• Carrying passengers or goods for payment.
• Off-road driving or driving on unpaved roads.
• Participating in racing, rallies, or speed testing.
• Driving under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or other substances.
• Towing or pushing other vehicles.
You are responsible for ensuring compliance with all local traffic laws and regulations.

5. Insurance & Liability
• Basic insurance coverage is included (details provided at booking or pick-up).
• Optional insurance upgrades (e.g., Collision Damage Waiver, Theft Protection) are available at additional cost.
• You are responsible for damages, theft, or loss of the vehicle, up to the amount of the excess/deductible, unless covered by purchased insurance.
• Insurance does not cover negligence, prohibited use, or breach of these Terms.

6. Fuel Policy
• The standard policy is “Same-to-Same” – return with the same fuel level as at pick-up.
• Failure to return with the correct fuel level will result in refueling charges.

7. Additional Fees
Additional charges may apply for:
• Late return.
• Extra mileage beyond the allowance.
• Cleaning fees if the vehicle is returned excessively dirty or with smoke odors.
• Loss of keys, documents, or accessories (e.g., GPS, child seats).
• Traffic fines, tolls, and parking violations during the rental period.

8. Accidents & Breakdowns
• In the event of an accident, you must immediately contact the local police and inform us.
• You must not admit liability or settle claims without our consent.
• For breakdowns, roadside assistance you can contact our local partner on the number provided to you when picking up a vehicle.
• Replacement vehicles may be provided depending on availability and circumstances.

9. Cancellation & No-Show Policy
• Free cancellation is available up to 24] hours before pick-up.
• Cancellations made less than 24 hours before pick-up may be subject to a fee.
• No-shows (failure to collect the vehicle without cancellation) will result in loss of prepaid amounts.

10. Termination of Rental
We reserve the right to terminate the rental agreement and repossess the vehicle without refund if:
• You breach these Terms.
• The vehicle is used for unlawful purposes.
• Payment obligations are not met.

11. Personal Belongings
We are not responsible for loss or damage to personal belongings left in the vehicle.

12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Slovenia. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of Slovenia.
