Car Rental Terms and Conditions<\/b><\/b><\/span><\/h2>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Effective Date: 1.5.2025 \/ Last Updated: 1.9.2025<\/p>

These General Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the rental of vehicles provided by Car Alliance to the customer. By booking, renting, or using our vehicles, you agree to these Terms.<\/p>

1. Rental Requirements<\/strong>
\u00a0 \u2022 Renters must be at least 21 years old.
\u2022 A valid driver\u2019s license held for at least 1 year is required.
\u2022 An international driving permit may be required for non-resident renters.
\u2022 A valid credit card in the renter\u2019s name is required for security deposit and payment.
\u2022 A voucher needs to be presented when picking up a vehicle<\/p>

2. Reservations & Payments<\/strong>
\u2022 Reservations can be made online, by phone, or in person.
\u2022 Payment methods accepted: Visa, Mastercard credit cards
\u2022 A deposit or pre-authorization will be taken on your credit card at pick-up to cover rental charges and potential additional costs.
\u2022 Rental rates include Unlimited mileage, CDW (Collision Damage Waiver), TP (Theft Protection), Taxes, Airport Fee unless otherwise stated.<\/p>

3. Vehicle Collection & Return<\/strong>
\u2022 Vehicles must be collected and returned at the agreed date, time, and location.
\u2022 Late returns may incur additional charges.
\u2022 Vehicles must be returned in the same condition as at pick-up, with the agreed fuel level
\u2022 Failure to return the vehicle on time may result in extra rental charges and\/or reporting the vehicle as stolen.<\/p>

4. Use of the Vehicle<\/strong>
The vehicle must not be used for:
\u2022 Carrying passengers or goods for payment.
\u2022 Off-road driving or driving on unpaved roads.
\u2022 Participating in racing, rallies, or speed testing.
\u2022 Driving under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or other substances.
\u2022 Towing or pushing other vehicles.
You are responsible for ensuring compliance with all local traffic laws and regulations.<\/p>

5. Insurance & Liability<\/strong>
\u2022 Basic insurance coverage is included (details provided at booking or pick-up).
\u2022 Optional insurance upgrades (e.g., Collision Damage Waiver, Theft Protection) are available at additional cost.
\u2022 You are responsible for damages, theft, or loss of the vehicle, up to the amount of the excess\/deductible, unless covered by purchased insurance.
\u2022 Insurance does not cover negligence, prohibited use, or breach of these Terms.<\/p>

6. Fuel Policy<\/strong>
\u2022 The standard policy is “Same-to-Same” \u2013 return with the same fuel level as at pick-up.
\u2022 Failure to return with the correct fuel level will result in refueling charges.<\/p>

7. Additional Fees<\/strong>
Additional charges may apply for:
\u2022 Late return.
\u2022 Extra mileage beyond the allowance.
\u2022 Cleaning fees if the vehicle is returned excessively dirty or with smoke odors.
\u2022 Loss of keys, documents, or accessories (e.g., GPS, child seats).
\u2022 Traffic fines, tolls, and parking violations during the rental period.<\/p>

8. Accidents & Breakdowns<\/strong>
\u2022 In the event of an accident, you must immediately contact the local police and inform us.
\u2022 You must not admit liability or settle claims without our consent.
\u2022 For breakdowns, roadside assistance you can contact our local partner on the number provided to you when picking up a vehicle.
\u2022 Replacement vehicles may be provided depending on availability and circumstances.<\/p>

9. Cancellation & No-Show Policy<\/strong>
\u2022 Free cancellation is available up to 24] hours before pick-up.
\u2022 Cancellations made less than 24 hours before pick-up may be subject to a fee.
\u2022 No-shows (failure to collect the vehicle without cancellation) will result in loss of prepaid amounts.<\/p>

10. Termination of Rental<\/strong>
We reserve the right to terminate the rental agreement and repossess the vehicle without refund if:
\u2022 You breach these Terms.
\u2022 The vehicle is used for unlawful purposes.
\u2022 Payment obligations are not met.<\/p>

11. Personal Belongings<\/strong>
We are not responsible for loss or damage to personal belongings left in the vehicle.<\/p>

12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction<\/strong>
These Terms are governed by the laws of Slovenia. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of Slovenia.<\/p>
